“Changing Diversity in Somerset County” will be presented by Dr. Tulsi Maharjan, on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Temple Sholom, 594 North Bridge Street, Bridgewater, NJ. The program is $5 and refreshments will be served.

Dr. Tulsi Maharjan, is currently Chairperson of the Somerset County Cultural Diversity Coalition. His community involvement includes past chairperson of the NJ Council for International Global Education, America-Nepal Society. He serves on numerous boards of the community organizations like Friends of Nepal -NJ and Rotary District 7475. He is the founding member of the Somerset County Interfaith Program, charter member of the Branchburg Rotary Club, Past Rotary International District Governor and founder of the Somerset County Cultural Diversity Coalition. He is a graduate of Leadership New Jersey program and currently serves as a member of the NJ Human Relations Council, a Governor’s appointed position. Dr. Maharjan has received awards from numerous organizations, including the YMCA, America Nepal Friendship Society, Chapter of Four Chaplains’ Humanitarian Award and Rotary International’s highest award “Service Above Self”. Born in Kathmandu Nepal, he lives in Branchburg.
