“The Practice of Fasting in Judaism and Islam” will be presented by Rabbi Debra Smith and Dr. Ali Chaudry on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Temple Sholom, 594 North Bridge Street, Bridgewater, NJ. The program is $5 and refreshments will be served.

Join us as we explore the history, traditions and practice of fasting in both faiths.  We will also compare texts related to fasting in Judaism and Islam.
