This 30-minute documentary takes a tender look at the aftermath of the Holocaust and how one woman overcame its horrors. Margit will be available after the movie for a question and answer period.

The documentary features interviews with Margit Feldman, a Holocaust survivor who lives in Somerset, N.J. The film focuses on Margit’s life after the Holocaust. The interview discusses how Margit was able to adapt to her new life while living with her cousins. Margit finds love and marries Harvey Feldman. She builds a new life with their family and their two children are the center of her life. We meet her children and grandchildren who talk about their family activities and experiences with Margit.

Margit is a public speaker, who educated over 120,000 people over 35 years with the creation of The Institute of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Raritan Valley Community College. Margit was appointed to the N.J. Commission on Holocaust Education, where she has been a proponent of Holocaust and Genocide Education, which is mandated in the Schools of New Jersey. Margit tells her story in her biography: Margit, A Teenager’s Journey Through the Holocaust and Beyond. Her grandchildren proudly accept their legacy to tell her story to future generations.
